#Live from Paris, as #YellowVests ( #GiletsJaunes ) protesters are expected to take to the streets of the French capital to protest.

This marks the 15th week of demonstration against French President Emmanuel Macron’s economic policies despite the #Frenchgovernment suspending #taxhikes and announcing increases to the #minimumwage.

Over 2,000 people have been arrested since the demonstrations began and at least 10 have died, the vast majority of the deaths being due to collisions between protesters and vehicles.

According to France’s Interior Ministry, a total of 41,500 people took part in protests throughout the country on the past Saturday, a clear decrease on the 282,000 peak during the beginning of the movement.

Organisers of the marches, however, state that the number of participants is considerably higher.
