This is one of those videos I just whipped up just for the sake of covering these old decoders. Things have come a long way since QSI was he defacto standard for most production models! I do have a soft spot for these late era chips, as the horn and bell recordings still hold up well. The RS5T and P3 still kick off nicely, along with background audio like coupler crashes and air release. This unit is on deck for a Loksound 5 and Scale Sounds Systems speaker swap, so I figured I'd cover this before the revamp.
