August 2026 - Toronto TTC Ride
Late night on the Toronto TTC: homeless people yelling on Yonge Street, a taxi driver offering me a ride (maybe I should have taken it… but the $$), broken windows, kids messing around on the platforms, passed-out individuals, barking dogs, and a late-night crew change. This time at Ossington station was surprisingly fast. Is the TTC still safe and efficient after dark? Here’s my real experience taking the subway home late at night.
