Just beating stuff up tonight. This K890 is a really amazing material. Heavy batoning of the kiln dried Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry) did finally manage to make a small portion of the edge yield but even then, the apex was still razor sharp. I am amazed at the durability of the steel and its ability to support this thin 11° per side Scandi grind.
