I got this guitar with a coffin case that I bought to go with an old 1852 Schmidt and Maul that I have.
It was in such rough shape, the seller basically “threw it in along with the case”.
I hate to see ANY guitar in a neglected condition, so I’ve had a lot off in getting this one back in shape!
No idea what it is, or who made it, but the attributes suggest late 1800’s with some very German influences, like the Ice Cream cone neck heel.
Still some details and setup to finish, but I’m enjoying hearing her sing again!
