Welcome to our journey to the roots of glassmaking. This is our LASVIT AJETO glassworks, where the glass magic happens. The world has changed during the past few months and we realized how precious nature and the people around us truly are. Although we still can´t take you to our world of glass and light in person, we can walk you through it virtually and show you a piece of our craft and several novelties.
The region of Northern Bohemia has been the homeland of glassmaking for centuries. The craft has been passed from generation to generation and it managed to survive all those, often hard, times. It is no accident that this craft was born here. Sand, water, wood and all the other resources needed for glassmaking are available everywhere around. The ingredients make the matter, but people’s hands and hearts give it its unique spirit.
People “touched by glass” are stubborn, free-spirited individuals – simply said, they are Bohemians. They see the beauty in glass, define it, and help the world to see it too. We are those people and we want to help you see the Nature of Glass as we see it.
