There was a time in my life when college did not go the way I imagined. I was asked to leave because I didn’t have the resources to continue, and for a long time, that story carried pain for me.

So standing in front of those graduates was more than a speaking engagement. It was a full-circle moment.

A reminder that your journey may not happen the way you planned it… but that does not mean your future is disqualified.

What once felt like rejection became redirection.
What once felt like an ending became preparation.

That’s why I was emotional. That’s why I was nervous. Because I understood the significance of the moment.

To every graduate in the Class of 2026: congratulations. Your degree is more than paper. It represents resilience, sacrifice, discipline, and possibility.

And no matter where life takes you next, never let one setback convince you to sit down on yourself.

Your story is still being written.❤️
