This is my 10th attempt (and most probably my last) at a top speed test for the Fil @poorboysrc Tamiya TT01 / TT02 Speed Challenge 2023. I'm entering the class for brushed motors and 6/7 cell NiMh batteries. My main focus is to beat that pesky Craig @theoagrc , he is now at 37mph and has a last run coming! I have another friendly challenger across the pond, Paul @Paul_CoughinCornersRC who whooped my best speed with a 48mph run last time out. Well done Paul, no way can my setup match that!
In this video I run my new LRP V10 Spec.6, 10x2T brushed motor but with lower gearing of 26/64, the rear wing removed and a 7 cell, 8.4v battery. Having hit 43mph on my last run, can I improve? It's not going to be easy!
