This is a last ride EVER for Boomerang a Vekoma roller coaster which includes the opening crew back in 1990 and some other Knotts or ex Knotts employees and a couple of others and I as part of media take the FINAL ride on the roller coaster Sunday April 23, 2017 at Knots Berry Farm in Buena Park,California, USA.
NOTE: Had to use music audio over parts of this video as there was copyrighted music playing on Knotts TV in the station.
UPDATE: Upper management lied and Boomerang isn't being scrapped and there was a secret deal going on to have this moved to another park in another country I'm not sure what country but it's first being shipped to Holland to be refurbished. If I hear more info I will let you guys know.
There was 3 trains one the front car was auctioned off and the Instagram user Adrenaline_Overdrive won the auction for $1600 bucks. You can check out his Instagram to see more about that. The same train without the lead car was sold off to another park internationally and the third train is being sent to Carowinds for their version of the coaster.
So I had to edit this part and I wouldn't purposely post false information just because and I'm not mentioning any names for multiple sources in and out of the Cedar Fair comoeny and it wasn't some Joe blow online or a random ride op cause that would have to be taken with a grain of salt . The new Roller Coaster going in is supposed to be a Gerstlauer. It's not supposed to be a family coaster but a high thrill coaster. I don't know what type of Gerstlauer it's supposed to be other then a high thrill coaster. This was also backed by more then one person in and out of the Company. When I say out if the company I'm taking about People that do things for the state inspecting ect. So it's a little hard not to believe this but we will just wait and see as more construction happens.
