The last operable mill in York County celebrated two centuries of operation on Sunday.
Wallace-Cross Mill in East Hopewell Township celebrated the milestone with an open house, giving visitors an inside look into the historical site.
Operators showcased how the 1826-built water-powered mill processes foods. In its heyday, it would process buckwheat, corn and wheat to help feed people around central Pa.
