Keeper1st | Last of the Ragtime Pioneers, played by Monty Suffern @Keeper1st | Uploaded April 2018 | Updated October 2024, 3 days ago.
This piece was written by our friend Galen Wilkes in 1983/84 following the death of ragtime legend Eubie Blake at the age of 96 (it was believed to have been the age of 100 at the time; only in recent years has Blake's true age been discovered).
Monty plays it here at the 2017 Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival.
