This my 3rd video on my replication of Lasersaber's 'Mini Boost Box'. Here the project is finished and I show it powering a usb led reading light. The device is an easy to find hand crank dynamo with added internal energy storage. Laresaber designed the internal storage using an arrangement of 2.7v / 100F supercapacitors instead of batteries. This method made the unit immune to the dreaded 'DEAD BATTERY' experience as supercapacitors can last for many years in full discharge and still be recharged.
