ChiliPeppr has a new Laser Soldering widget. You'll need a 3W laser, Arduino, Melexis MLX90614, and mount. Directions are given for all of it. The solderer needs work as its burning the FR4 so it needs better control of the laser temperature, but the video is a good rundown of how it has come together thus far.
