Exploring an abandoned cement factory in Nevada, This cement factory closed in 2008 and now sits abandoned and destroyed. It still has most of it's original buildings and you can see some of it's original structures still standing.
The cement plant sits in the Mojave Desert it was used to mine limestone which is an ingredient used to make cement. It was shut down after it failed several clean air act regulations with the state of Nevada. If you decide to visit this location keep in mind the dangers associated with it. The cement plant has been sitting for a long time and is extremely dangerous to wander around without protection. Be mindful of asbestos and be extra careful with its decaying and deteriorating buildings, it sits alone and abandoned in the desert so most of it has been destroyed.
