Formation flying, two or more aircraft traveling and maneuvering together in a disciplined, synchronized, predetermined manner. In a tight formation, such as is typically seen at an air show, aircraft may fly less than three feet (one metre) apart and must move in complete harmony, as if they are joined together. Here we see a large Pilatus PC-7 formation in an Airshow, with most of the shots taken from the cockpit of one of the aircrafts, my goal was to give another perspective of how the formation flights look from the pilot´s point of view, and how he uses the throttle and stick to stay in place.

El vuelo en formacion consiste de dos o mas aeronaves volando y maniobrando juntas en una manera predeterminada, disciplinada y sincronizada. En una formacion cerrada, como lo es el tipo de formacion que se ve comunmente durante un espectaculo aereo, los aviones vuelan a menos de un metro de distancia entre si, y deben moverse en completa harmonia, como si fueran uno solo. Aqui vemos una formacion grande de Pilatus PC-7 durante un espectaculo aereo, con la mayoria de las tomas hechas desde la cabina de una de las aeronaves, mi objetivo es brindar otra perspectiva de como se ve el vuelo en formacion desde el punto de vista del piloto, y de como manipula la potencia y el baston para mantnerse en su lugar.
