Virtual slides along with 'Air Anatomy' gestures are used to understand the histology of the Large artery also known as the Elastic artery.

Elastic artery/Large artery are defined as ones that have a diameter of greater than 10mm. The examples are the aorta, pulmonary trunk and the initial branches of them.

I thank Dr Michael Hortsch and the University of Michigan for providing the virtual slides. The virtual slides are created by the University of Michigan.

If you have not seen the overview of blood vessels video I highly recommend to see that video before viewing this.
