Continuing to work on my large abstract painting using mixed media, textured materials on a thrifted canvas. Today, I'm using spray paint and acrylic metallic paints to create a rich, deep base coat in shades of matte and metallic blue. The eventual look of this painting will be icy and cold, so I want to feel the depths of a frozen landscape underneath. What do you think?
