British producer LAR returns to Anjunadeep Explorations with ‘Dragging You Down / Rewind’, featuring UK singer/songwriter Coulson and American vocalist Taylr Renee.
Originally from Nottingham and now based in Stockholm, Matt Larden has consistently delivered high quality music across a number of different genres; deep house, breakbeat, progressive and melodic. Since debuting on Anjunadeep Explorations in 2024, LAR has continued to build momentum through a steady stream of releases. Inspired by artists like Bonobo, Maribou State and Tourist, his music has now amassed over 20 million global streams, alongside support from tastemakers including David Guetta, Marsh, Sultan + Shepard and Mark Knight. Recently, new track ‘Dragging You Down’ featured on James Grant’s Movement Vol. 6 compilation, filmed in the stunning surroundings of Watamu, Kenya.
The new release showcases LAR’s ability to pair emotionally rich songwriting with tight production, bringing together the voices of Coulson and Taylr Renee across two warm and distinctive cuts designed equally for headphones and dancefloors.
