For the Crimson Daggers Bloodsports Challenge.
We had to change the target audience of a Hayao Miyazaki film while maintaining the look of the characters.

Some lessons learned:
- LEARN HOW TO CONSTRUCT FACES! Since I did poorly on this one, I had to waste a few hours fixing those faces.
- When painting distant objects, start with its silhouette with a color darker than the sky. Then just paint the highlights and forget about most of the shadows.
- Use textured brushes generously.
- Painting a dusk scene is very fun because a lot of colors appear in the sky. Take advantage of hard light mode to add more discolorations and don't forget to use photo references if you're not sure!
-I used DAZ3D to help me with the underlit lighting. This is very useful for figuring out lighting but I don't recomended 3D posing tools as reference for poses.

Thanks for watching!
Did this in around 10hrs or so.
