This is a helmet-cam video from a few years ago, so I think the statute of limitations has expired. It was another bad traffic day in Nashville, I think I-40 was shut down, so I rode my smallest, slowest motorcycle to work. Instead of "waiting my turn" and risk getting rear-ended by somebody who was texting their boss/coworkers that they were going to be late, I decided to do what I learned in Japan: Lane-split. As you can see, when practiced responsibly it cuts down on traffic backups, accidents, and time/fuel wasted. So let's get this legislation passed and get more people riding to work instead of sitting in traffic. Here's the link to contact your Tennessee representatives:

PS: Unfortunately, my microphone was disconnected. I didn't know that at the time, and was explaining what I was doing as I was riding along. So the only sound you'll hear is the cheerful voice of the Waze navigation app from my phone. Yes, it's in Japanese.
