Los Angeles Times | Landslides are closing roads, causing damage after winter storms @latimes | Uploaded 7 months ago | Updated 12 hours ago
This past week, Pacific Coast Highway faced two closures in Malibu and Ventura County following road obstruction and damages from landslides.

In Ventura County, between Sycamore Canyon Road and Los Posas Road, Caltrans crews are working nightly to repair erosion on the roadway’s shoulder and southbound lanes. The roads close at 6PM and open further inland for commuters at 7AM each morning.

It’s yet undetermined when both roads will be open, but coastal erosion and landslides will continue to be a problem for Southern California and coastal communities along the state.
