This week we head to Tryfan to meet up with Matt Beech and Adrian Snelius for a day out of Landscape photography in Snowdonia. With my recent move in camera systems i have a limited lens line up. So i spend most of the time shooting the Tryfan area with my gf 35-70mm lens. Although this lens is fantastic i found that it was not quite wide enough so i had to improvise and shoot panoramas to get the shots i was after. Shooting Tryfan with such a lens is certainly not impossible and i think this goes for any setup you have to work with what you have availlable to you. For a lens described as a kit lens i think that this does not do the lens justice as it is still optically very good and produces fantastic results as i discovered on this trip. This lens is certainly going to be a valued piece of my kit.
