New Zealand’s National Film Unit presents 'Landscape in Stamps' (1977)
Poetry, music and the detail of postage stamps, are combined to produce an essentially impressionistic view of New Zealand's social and physical landscape. The words of Frost, Whitman, Thoreau, Housman, and the music of Vaughan Williams, Handel, Beethoven and Mendelssohn form a sound montage heard against the images of our country.
