I wish I could have done Lance more justice, but this took 3 and a half hours to render and it almost killed my computer two times before that so I didn't want to risk it a fourth time. But even so, I wish i'd done a better job on the coloring, because it makes some of the clips look a bit washed out. But I've been wanting to finish this for such a long time, because Lance is so important to me! I'm gonna try not to go on for TOO long, but I want to explain why I made this.
I've always been a very loud and passionate person, which usually leads to me being perceived as stupid or immature. I'd do anything for my friends. I love editing, writing, and drawing- all things which require a lot of skill and hard work. But a lot of that is usually overlooked. In middle school, I was always seen as 'lazy, immature Sophie with anger issues', while being constantly compared to my very Keith-like friend, who was given all the responsibility, trust, and praise. I have adhd and struggle with school, which everyone is constantly looking down on me for. So THAT does a number on my self-esteem. I project a lot of this on to Lance, since we already have similar insecurities, and the purpose of this edit was sort of to show Lance as I understand him. I wanted to tell the story of him struggling to overcome all these obstacles, like I have.
