One of the most important things to remember when preparing for your next trip to the mountains, the beach, the desert or wherever you're traveling, is towing your trailer level. To do this properly you must consider how you load your trailer, what the hitch height is at full capacity, and proper inflation of the tires and if you would need to put a suspension upgrade or assist on your vehicle.
Remember - for our standard tandem axle trailers the hitch height is at 21 1/2 inches. If your trailer nose is too high or too low -- either the front or rear set of tires on tandem axle trailers will wear out faster than the other. In addition, proper inflation of your trailer tires will play a huge role in the wear of the tires and handling of your trailer.
