Glitch Bottle | Lamenting the Lost 'Mystery Tradition' via Dr. Stephen Skinner @glitchbottle | Uploaded February 2017 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
Religion is public, involves many people, and asks the gods for favor. Magic is private, deals with materialistic goals, and invites or constrains spirits for material benefit. But the Middle Pillar, the Mystery Tradition involved the initiation of one's own soul/consciousness in an extremely heightened/elevated state for immortality and total merging into the Divine. Where did this go? Masonic and fraternal orders are very far off this mark.
