Hello everyone, and welcome back to another review! This one is upsetting to me because I WANTED to like this book so badly, and then I just absolutely could not - and no one is more upset about this than me. I hope you enjoy! ♥

Addendum: I said at some point that Lady Macbeth is Shakespeare's ONLY female villain. This is of course not true (the "femme fatale", the woman who somehow leads an often titular male character into doom somehow, is very present in Shakespeare's plays) BUT Lady Macbeth is still, I'd argue, one of the greatest female villains he has ever given us - partially because she is so influential and powerful in her position but also because her monologue is just That IconicTM.
