The complex sits on Son Tra Peninsula, about 10 km northeast of Da Nang city center, at around 69 meters elevation facing the sea. It’s reachable by motorbike, taxi, or bus from Hai Chau district in 20-30 minutes; entry is free. Monkeys roam the grounds, adding a wild element, but visitors should secure belongings.

History
Construction began in 2004 after earlier Linh Ung sites (one ancient on Marble Mountains from the 1600s-1800s, another at Ba Na Hills around 2003). The statue’s initial version was rebuilt for authenticity, completing in 2010. No major newer Buddha complexes appear in Da Nang post-2010.
Visitor Tips
