For our twelfth fight in the Labyrinth, we took a detour from the easy path to take on Spider-Man!
This was actually an unplanned fight in this run. Seeing that I still had quite a few potions left and a Summoner boost active, I figured why not! What I forgot to do was read about Spidey's Enigmatic ability, which gives him 100% Evade at the beginning of the fight and after he uses his SP2. Only Stunning him removes the buff. Not having this knowledge went to my detriment a few times in this battle.
The strategy for fighting Spidey with Star-Lord is to bait his Heavy or block until the end of his Combo, then retaliate with a 4-hit Combo (ending with a Light). If you see him Evade after your first Combo hit, immediately block or dash back.
Each video in this series contains a sidebar with supplemental info (such as the LoL map, auto-evade count, items used, etc.) to track each individual fight as well as the overall run through the Labyrinth.
For this video, I update the Evade counter only after each round instead of in realtime due to Spidey's high Evade frequency. I also decided not to include his Evades as part of the total overall Evade count as Evade is Spidey's natural ability and he wouldn't necessarily be on everyone's first LoL path. I also only counted the auto-evades that weren't due to the Enigmatic (only the ones that show Evade on the screen).
