Fraims pointed out that the red coins in this stage are the only star to require the metalcap, making them one of the slower stars on my routing sheet. Not anymore.

Earlier today, I confirmed that I can set the HOLP (Held Objects Last Position) to coordinates of (1545, 1650, 5925) by carrying the cork box onto the back of the target and grinding to 30 speed (no video).
I also theorized that a cork box dropped at these coordinates can be grabbed without entering the nearby load radius for a huge goomba triplet. This will let us enter that radius after already holding the cork box with BCA (Behind Camera Anywhere), allowing us to throw a goomba clone at this HOLP.
Now, I demonstrate that if just a single goomba clone has been thrown at this HOLP, we can reach the top of the target and collect any of the stars Moving Target, Door Knocking, Pole Jumping (https://youtu.be/O880cTtDD0o ), or Playful Red Coins from there.
I estimate a timesave of about 5 minutes per climb, accumulating to 30 minutes in the 80 star route and 35 minutes in the 130 star route (assuming Pole Jumping 0xA can be executed successfully).")

An overview over my strats for the star that Ive been practicing for my last 17 hours of playing SM64. It is about twice as long as Lost Bay Town, and some call it harder than beating Bramble Castle and Lost Bay Town in a row.
Two people have beaten this star before this video, MorningStorm SM64 (https://youtu.be/wfHNTgmz4Qo ) and katze789 (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpwny4IgcCPLK2_gv33M9uA ). This makes me by far the lowest-skill player to ever go for this star, and so far I do not have any regrets.
Im uploading this mostly because many of my strats differ significantly from MorningStorms, which I believe makes them significantly easier or at least safer. The biggest differences are at 2m10s, 4m05s, 7m31s, 17m41s, 18m08s, 18m48s, and from 18m56s to 20m15s.

The previous runs by myself used the intended route, which had the drawbacks of 1. being longer, and 2. not allowing for 16 swim speed in the second underwater part. Luckily, I realized that a steep floor clip could solve both.
I had already made a TAS that achieves 15.999 swim speed (https://youtu.be/7p5uadQu9f0 ), so I was able to branch off of that for the clip.
