Lidée est de donner le point de vue de différents systèmes sur la façon dêtre parent et multiple, en étant honnêtes sur les aspect bénéfiques de la multiplicité mais aussi sur nos difficultés, nos faiblesses etc. Lidée principale est de montrer quil est tout à fait possible dêtre un bon parent même avec un trouble psy etc., de casser les clichés sanistes à ce sujet. Il sagit aussi de donner des pistes de réflexions à de futurs parents multiples qui voudraient anticiper certaines difficultés.

Plurality and Chronic Illness: What it means to be a Terminal
Session description: Chronically ill pluralities function differently due to the amount of work and awareness required to keep the body in a functional state. In some cases this leads to the formation of what a friend aptly called a Terminal, a headmate that facilitates the rest of the plurality interacting with the wider world, often giving their headmates access without risking the wellbeing of the body as a whole. The way our plurality functions, as a result, can look a good bit different from what many describe their plurality as. These differences can make a lot of chronically ill pluralities feel that they must not really be plural. Beyond that, interactions with, and care for, a plurality with a Terminal can be quite a bit different than other pluralities. Disability is often overlooked in intersectionality, so especially during a mass disabling event that leaves many with Chronic Fatigue (among other things), this is something that needs much more education.
TW (TRIGGER WARNINGS) for the session: Medical trauma, death/mortality, illness/injury, trauma, abuse, isolation, discussions of weight, ableism, sanism, eugenics.
Presenter bio: Ive& been an aware plurality for 12 years, and have spent recent years connecting with plural community and learning about the variety and diversity we have as a whole. The intersections Im& at also inform the way I& look at plurality, being a disabled, chronically ill, trans (specifically xenine), queer advocate, and an artist, Ive& had a lot of exposure to how these things intersect with plurality. Many pluralities end up feeling like they dont count, or dont fit in, because they dont have or do certain things that theyve been told were required parts of the plural experience. I& also do focus a lot on the experience of having severe chronic illness and how that can impact the way your plurality functions when you have extensive and delicate body management needs.

Empowering Plurality: Reflections on Growth and Healing
Session description: Join us for Empowering Plurality: Reflections of Growth and Healing, a session exploring the diverse experiences of Plurality with a focus on growth, healing, and resilience.
We will cover topics like defining functional multiplicity, overcoming obstacles, and discovering strengths within Plural Systems. Participants will share beneficial practices and resources, future aspirations, and positive insights, offering practical advice and support.
This session aims to foster understanding and allyship through firsthand accounts of resilience, thriving, and selves-love, highlighting the importance of diverse perspectives in building an inclusive and supportive community.
Presenter bios:
Salem Starship: Just a gateway system of schizoaffective experience. Highly populated.
El Higuerón System: Relationship and intimacy coach, helping people with sexuality, gender, intrapersonal relationships and intimacy, and interpersonal relationships and intimacy. Caring for non-normative people, in particular those of 2SLGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities, most especially plurals.
Passing as light-skinned, in an AMAB body, having earned an advanced education and significant professional experience, we acknowledge and appreciate our privilege. And our financial reality and history of poverty and isolation, our physical and mental disabilities, our queerness and transness, our non-normative relationship values and practices, our lived experience of plurality, our immigrant and racial/ethnic identity, and our complex trauma history intersect with normative societal dominance and oppression in our life.
Our commitment to ourselves is to heal, to grow, to flourish, and to thrive. And our purpose is to help others to do the same.
Team Renewal: Team Renewals body is named Riley. We are primarily a fictive system, a disabled trans man of color, and looking to educate people on plurality and disability. We live in Maine, USA, with our partner (who is also a caregiver) and our best friend, who is a silly old black cat named Tundra. We are a mixed-origin system; mostly endogenic, but with a trauma-based DID diagnosis and one little self.
