✨ THE STORY
The temple dancer Nikiya and the warrior Solor pledge their love to one another. When the Rajah chooses Solor to marry his daughter Gamzatti, devotion gives way to jealousy, betrayal and tragedy. Beyond the mortal world, the lovers meet again in the dreamlike Kingdom of the Shades—one of classical ballet’s most celebrated scenes.
