Worked on this on and off for a year. Easily one of my favourite RetroAchievement badges to date.I managed to get to stage 9 after a few attempts back in March and since then took a break. Last week I decided to finally practice again after noticing the amount of badges I had which gave me great motivation. Watching a run taught me there was a hidden shield on stage 2. That alone sealed the deal as I was struggling to survive on stages 2 and 3. It made the rest of the level comfortable as there are shields in more levels than the first half of the game. Not losing hunter for stages 3 and 6 were really helpful as they can be really annoying levels without it. Even now, I can safely say stage 4's boss is still the most difficult one, as times it can be really hard to dodge tits projectiles, and unfortunately, with the strategy for trying in front of him even can fail it rams into you sometimes.Never thought I'd finish the game on this difficulty without a continuue, considering how crazy it gets. For some reason, the cheevo is also incremeted by riding the turbulance wind and performing a trick of it. I don't think it is intended, but I'll take it for now. The video pretty much shows how to get all 30 legitimatelly, including the tricky one at green forest where you can get two X-ranks before bouncing back to the start, though it is a little harder to manage first place, it is definitely worth going. [MEGADRIVE/GENESIS] Thunder Force IV - Normal, No Miss (6022080) Nevanos 2024-02-12 | Felt really happy to have got this game done without deaths on any mode. I was doing this for an achievement to get over 6000000. First run didn't make it over the score, but this run was thankfully the one to do it.I was lucky to know that at the final level, if I allow myself to grab lots of powerups and have a shield to protect myself throughout the segment, I can get more points, and it eventually got me the points I needed. I actually accidentally blew up the first boss as I wanted to remain there longer, but I was fortunate to have enough points for the achievement.For the rest of the run, when I was learning to do this without dying, I was even having problems with even wthe first boss at times. Just had to know to stay on the top left of the screen to dodge the tail whips. I recently learned that if you don't get a shield in the third level, you'd get it on the fourth (strange RNG there), so there can be problems there at times. Level 8 is always a scary time as it is boss mania, but using the charged shot correctly can help eliminate bosses very quickly. Sonic Frontiers | All Guardians & Titans Bosses (Level 1, Hard, No Hit/No Damage) [Spoiler Warning] Nevanos 2022-12-13 | Finally getting time to finish the video, here is Sonic Frontiers with every single Guardian and Titan boss done without taking damage/taking a hit (aside from the mandatory Supreme hit).So thankful Sonic Frontiers is as fun as it is, which is so refreshing after not buying a new Sonic game for over 10 years (which is not a knock at all, had a focus on many other things during that time). This game has so many cool bosses that I had to challenge myself to do all the bosses for true completion sake. I did a full run of this game on Twitch where I do all the Island challenges, along with doing all bosses and Cyberspace levels which took well over 18 hours. Much longer than I thought but maybe it'll be faster next time.Some bosses were definitely tricky to no hit, especially the likes of Tower and Master Ninjas. Thankfully they were all entertaining and not too tough to avoid in the end. I did miss a few interactions here and there as I wanted to get as much as possible in the video.
