500+ Non/Disney Masking Giveaway! xFrostedMoonlight 2019-01-20 | Hey everyone! I realized this past week that anytime I’m working on a new project I always mask 99% of things from scratch rather than reusing any of my masks, which then made me realize that it’d been an awfully long time since I actually went through a finished project's AE file and exported the finished maskings, which then made me realize that I hadn’t actually done that since 2016. Whoops! So over this past week I spent about 8 hours simply exporting all of my finished masks from their AE files and after deleting some old duplicates (the most I’d re-masked a single scene without realizing it was 5 times) I now have 520 maskings to share with everyone! Sadly I wasn't able to get the maskings from about 5 of my project files due to the clips no longer being on my computer (not sure why I deleted them at some point but I apparently did). There’s still a couple duplicates left in there but the timing of the scene usually varies a bit for those. Some of these maskings are a lot better than others, but some of these maskings are also really old.I’m going to try my best to start re-using masks where I’m able to, maybe save myself some time, but I also figured these might be able to help other editors rather than letting them rot away forgotten on my computer like they have the past few years xD I'm also planning to start posting more giveaways as I finish more projects (which my goal is to finish 3 full projects by the end of 2019) As always though, please give proper credit if you decide to use them. [Hamilton] Congratulations - Elsa & Hans (ft. Anna) xFrostedMoonlight 2017-12-03 | ~HD and headphones~Sooo I've been sick for about a month and a half now and due to the fatigue and foggy-headedness, I'm finding it incredibly difficult to get any of the projects done that I'm currently working on. So what do I do instead? Procrastinate and start a completely new project. Makes sense right? xD Basically, most of my current projects need a LOT of masking, manipulation, 3D tracking, etc. to just get one manip done. But, I don't have the patience or ability to focus on something like that atm. So for this video, I went back to the bare basics of editing (mask, recolor, new background, done.) I started this a few days ago and I'm generally happy with how it came out. My main focus in this was the lip-syncing and color correction, but other than that I didn't worry too much about making masks or manipulations perfect. (hence why it's 13+)I cut some corners, got a little lazy towards the end, and couldn't be bothered to follow through with a new addition to a finished manip, but it's done so yay xDEnjoy!_____________________________________________________________The theme of this mep is to "portray a couple where the male is being domestically abused." Many people think it's impossible or laughable for a man to somehow be abused by a woman, but it is a serious issue that happens more than many people realize. The theme/issue that I've used as inspiration for my part is the fact that people are more likely to side with the woman of a relationship when it comes to accusations of abuse. I can't tell you how many reports there have been where a man is obviously being abused by a woman, ALL of the evidence stacks up against her, there's no evidence that points to the man harming her in any way, and yet when the woman claims "it was in self defense" or "he raped me," people take her word for it and the man is condemned while she walks free. It's sickening how often this happens and it's also sickening how men who decide to defend themselves are often looked down upon because "men shouldn't hit women." In my opinion, if a woman is attacking a man, by all means the man should be allowed to defend himself in whatever means necessary. If that means punching her, then so be it. Note: I am not saying that accusations of rape/abuse should not be thoroughly investigated. All accusations like that should be taken seriously. BUT when all evidence is pointing to the woman being a lying sack of shit, then the people handling the case need to act accordingly._____________________________________________________________Storyline: Months ago, Jack and Princess Rapunzel had fallen in love. They'd begun a relationship built on kindness, trust, and understanding, but that relationship soured quickly. Rapunzel's true colors began to show. Now, not only is she unhealthily possessive of Jack, but she's also often verbally, emotionally, and physically abusive to him. Jack neither fights back nor can he bring himself to leave her, for he loves her far too much and continues to hope that she will return to the kindhearted girl he once knew.However, as the nature of her abuse takes a sexual turn, Jack unintentionally lashes out to defend himself. Instantly regretting his actions, he rushes over to Rapunzel's aid. Angered by his sudden retaliation and the sudden threat to the power she has over him, she lets out a blood curdling scream which attracts the attention of a passing guard. When questioned, she paints Jack as the abuser and herself as a poor damsel in distress. Jack is speechless and horrified.Rapunzel smirks. Even though she is completely unscathed and Jack is riddled with bruises, the guards instantly believe her and take Jack away. p.s. anyone catch that symbolism? Wow this took a lot longer than anticipated, especially all of the manips that involve a full view of the demon, but that's what I get for getting super ambitious with my designs xD Enjoy!_____________________________________________________________Storyline: Rapunzel has been battling her inner demons for most of her life. Locked away in a tower, deprived of love, or any other kind of positive interaction, she is constantly being emotionally abused by Gothel. "Useless," "worthless," and "a waste of space," are all phrases she has grown accustomed to hearing Gothel use to describe her. While younger, she could always brush these insults off, but as the years have worn her down, she has slowly begun to believe them. Her inner demon uses this opportunity to claw its way to the surface. Her inner angel does its best to convince her otherwise, but Rapunzel feels that the world would be better off without her. The demon continues to pressure her as she steps towards the balcony's edge."Now, do it..."The angel is quick to jump after Rapunzel, catching her mid-fall, and gently lowering her to the ground where she finally breaks down. When the demon follows to continue tormenting Rapunzel, the angel intercepts, banishing the demon to the depths of Rapunzel's mind. Although the demon won't be gone forever, Rapunzel's mind hasn't been this clear or at peace in years.Note: In my mind there is at least 2 ways to interpret this part (more specifically Punzie's jump from her tower). It can be taken in a literal sense, where Rapunzel did attempt suicide and actually leapt from the physical tower. But it can also be taken in a metaphorical sense, where Rapunzel's "jump from her tower" is actually her falling down towards her lowest possible state of mind. The immortal beings have stuck together for centuries, hoping that someday the glass wall separating them will fall. But their patience has worn thin and one day, Winter's temper gets the best of him. He attempts to break the wall using his staff but his staff is the only thing that shatters. They've known each other for more than a few years and although they are very close, even bordering the line of a relationship, Jack still gets very upset over the fact he has no other believers. Not even animals can see him, so without any other believers he understandably gets very lonely when Hiccup isn't free to spend time with him. One night these feelings come to a head and when Hiccup tries to comfort Jack, he finally snaps at the brunette. "How can you always say everything will be okay when you've never been in my situation? You have no idea what this kind of life is like." Jack leaves Hiccup behind, both thinking back to the first time Hiccup had noticed Jack wandering through the village. The next day, Hiccup convinces Jack to meet him at the dragon sanctuary for a surprise. When Jack arrives, Hiccup tells him to try petting Toothless. Jack has done this in the past only to phase through the reptile so he is hesitant at first, but trusting Hiccup's words, he reaches out towards Toothless. To his surprise and utter joy, Toothless meets his hand half way and his hand does not phase through. Hiccup has found a way to train Toothless to believe [idk how, it's for plot] and Jack couldn't be happier to have another believer. This is such an amazing idea that she came up with to help people see how much they've improved over their years of editing. I made this manip last summer (early august of 2016) and it was originally for a cancer support group advert that I was making with onlyoneking_12. That video is no longer in the works but I still wanted to use my Emma manip because I was super proud of it. When I saw StitchElle post a sign up vid for a cancer mep, I knew that was my chance to do so!_____________________________________________________________Storyline: Jackson Overland has been the legal guardian of his little sister Emma (nicknamed Flea due to her high energy and her love for jumping around) ever since their parents died 2 years ago. They don’t have many luxuries and Jack works multiple jobs in order to make ends meet. But even so, they live a happy and fun-filled life together.All of that changes in an instant when Emma is diagnosed with leukemia. Jack applies to get her health insurance, because he knows he wouldn’t be able to afford the treatment otherwise. But due to the fact that Emma is already very ill, the application is denied. Wanting his sister to enjoy her remaining time rather than living in fear of the end, Jack keeps the knowledge that Emma will surely perish to himself. He gets her as much medical attention as he’s able to afford, is always sure to have a smile on his face while around her, and is constantly reassuring her that all will be well. However, this does little to comfort her. She’s seen Jack’s true emotions. She’s seen the pure anguish, hopelessness, and misery that he only shows when he thinks he’s alone. She knows she’s going to die, but she’s not scared of dying. Instead, she’s scared of leaving Jack all alone. When Jack runs out of the funds to keep Emma in the hospital, she’s discharged to live her remaining days in the comfort of her own home. She doesn’t last long.While at her grave, Jack dwells on what it would’ve been like if he had been able to afford all of the treatment his sister needed. He imagines visiting a cured Emma in the hospital. Even though her hair is gone from the chemotherapy, there’s a smile on her face and a sparkle in her eyes. He can’t bear to think of it for long, though.
