Outdoor AED Cabinet Maintenance - SaveStation SaveStation 2025-03-20 | Maintaining your SaveStation® Outdoor AED Cabinet is easy! 1. Perform a monthly physical check to ensure that the SaveStation is free of debris or clutter that could block access. Ensure there is no physical damage to the cabinet.2. Open the SaveStation cabinet by swiping the maintenance card over the side of the cabinet (over the ‘A’ of ‘AED). This puts the cabinet into maintenance mode and turns off the cabinet alarm.3. Next, remove the AED and check for any expired supplies (pads and battery), ensure the ‘Ready for Rescue’ symbol is showing a positive status. As well check the AED First Aid Response kit is intact and supplies are not expired.4. Clean the cabinet floor and dust off connections.5. Replace the AED & optical sensor (ensure the sensor connects properly) and close the cabinet door – the cabinet will reinstate the alarm. 6. Child Instructions | Zoll AED 3 SaveStation 2023-09-06 | This training video shows how to properly place the Zoll AED 3 pads on a child using the anterior/posterior pad placement otherwise known as front and back. This is an important instructional video to watch ahead of time, so that precious time is not wasted. The video allows you to hear the voice prompts after the child button is pressed. The rescuer is instructed to roll the child towards you to place the first pad on the center of the back, between the shoulder blades. The second instruction directs the user to tear the purple puck away from the silver liner and place it on the yellow pad and then on the center of the chest. Once the pads are on, it is important to listen the AED and follow the voice prompts.

Bystander CPR - Real Experiences SaveStation 2021-10-15 | A compilation of real, first-hand accounts about what it is like to perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). We brought together a group of people with one thing in common; they have each given CPR at least once. Stories told by Instructors, Paramedics, Firefighters and First Aiders about their experiences giving CPR. These are personal anecdotes ranging from a restaurant rescue to the sensory impressions of cracking cartilage. In these interviews, they get candid about how unpleasant it can be (the sounds), what it feels like (squishy) and how hard you actually have to push. We feel it is important that you hear the truth about the experience so that you are mentally prepared to step in and perform CPR when it is needed most.
