Problem is that they prevented dust from sending out block updates, which breaks many common qc and 0-tick setups, leading to uhh the carnage shown here.

So yea I finally bothered to finish this build up. Modifications to the side layout and a new bottom layout removes the input delay and causes significantly speeds up the closing. A layer has been shaved off the bottom since the last 7x7, shaving off any more will require a new clock setup. Entity count as also been reduced to only the 8 required for the B O A T repeaters on the sides.

0:00 Double 0-tick pulse gen
This is a 0-tick gen that makes a 0-tick pulse 2gt after the observers are triggered (in this setup it is a 1 BED pulse but you can add more), and then after 2gt, it will make a pseudo 0-tick pulse with a falling edge of 3gt and a configuration amount of BED. This is especially useful for retracting some extenders.

This is a very small 2-output 3gt that's 4 deep (5 deep if including input) and 4-wide. It is often much easier to package in doors than the traditional 2-output 3gt clock.

This is a control circuit that is often uses with the previously-mentioned clock. When used with uncutting the wire, this gives 2 pulses, and with redircting the input dust, this gives 3 pulses on rising edge. The amount of pulses on falling edge is configurable.

This is a way you can add more BED to a traditional 3gt clock. On the side which you uncut the wire from, you can add a configurable amount of BED but with one condition: You must uncut the wire after all dust which can update the return piston.

This circuit takes a 3gt clock signal with at least 2 BED of length and outputs a pseudo 0-tick pulse every 3gt. When used properly, this can be used to retract pretty large extenders with just this alone.

Adding these updater pistons allows you avoid the annoying locational case where downwards reps can QC. If given a 1 BED input pulse, you will need 2 updaters, and you will need more updaters with a longer input pulse length. You can use B O A T to speed up the reset.

Interesting side concept that shaves a layer off the left side, although reset is pretty bad. Some wiring is re-used from the 1440 block .75 Might be able to shave another layer to get 1260 or 1248 blocks. The same either-or loc case from the 1440 .75 still applies here, but otherwise this is non-locational.

I find that too many people are using locational 0-tick repeaters over and over again. With the exception of the first 2 reps, everything else shown is locational or directional in some way or another.
This applies to all 0-tick reps in which dust can update the return piston, along with most 3gt clocks and 0-tick smart pistons.
Case 1: Perfectly working 0-tick repeater and non-loc
Case 2: Perfectly working and non-loc upwards 0-tick repeater
Case 3: Output won't always power. You are relying on the dust to update your output before the return piston
Case 4: Dust output won't reliably update the updater and won't work
Case 5: Branching too early. You can't branch from those 0-tick reps from or before a dust that updates the return piston
Case 6: Stray updates, a stray dust update borkes the rep
Case 7: Long pulse case. Its a pretty rare case, but unless you build the reps like in case 1 or case 2, there is a chance that the rep can output a pulse that is 1 block event longer than normal.

However, I had one problem, and that is that the profile they take up is pretty annoying to work with, as they had a lot of dust in placed where they could interfere with nearby circuitry. So, I decided to make a new one with a much nicer profile. The outputs only have 1 block in spacing, and this design has less redstone dust in places where it could interfere with nearby circuitry.

Very common monostable in it's most useful configuration got broken. It still works in other configs but removing this one config alone breaks many builds and removes possibilities. And the 0-tick generated by this is useless.

A couple years ago, Dat Cookie Doe made a nice 6x6, but unfortunately 1.13 caused it to break and he hasn't bothered making a fix for it. Luckily the fix for this is quite easy and only requires a single noteblock.
