The Root Chakra, also known as Muladhara, is the foundation of the Chakra system. Located at the base of the spine, it is associated with grounding, stability, and a sense of security. When this Chakra is balanced, one feels safe and connected to the physical world, enabling the free flow of energy upward through the rest of the body. Imbalances in the Root Chakra can manifest as anxiety, insecurity, or physical issues related to the lower body.

The Heart Chakra, or Anahata, sits at the center of the chest and is the bridge between the lower, earthly Chakras and the upper, spiritual Chakras. It governs love, compassion, and emotional harmony. A balanced Heart Chakra allows for deep connections with others, the capacity for forgiveness, and the ability to give and receive love freely. When the Root and Heart Chakras are stimulated and activated together, as suggested by the deep-penetrating frequencies, they create a powerful synergy. From my new album/series project, this is; 6 Brow Chakra, also known as the Third Eye Chakra, 6-minutes of sound layers created to bring you into tune, balance, inner vision, intuitive awareness, deeper understanding, and clarity of perception. The Brow Chakra, or Third Eye Chakra, is the living gateway of insight, the sacred center where intuition, awareness, imagination, and perception gather into stillness. It is the place where ordinary seeing begins to open into deeper understanding, where the inner eye recognizes patterns, meanings, and truths that the surface mind may overlook. When this center is open, its energy does not strain to know; it becomes clear, steady, receptive. In its awakened state, the Third Eye becomes an indigo field of living awareness, where thought, vision, and spirit meet in the same quiet light. Your Brow Chakra is the eye of your energy being. And because the universe is alive with vibration, perception is not something separate from creation; it is one of the ways creation reveals itself. In that sacred understanding, the open Third Eye becomes a channel through which deeper wisdom, inner guidance, and clear seeing begin to flow. Balance brings a calm clarity that feels spacious, focused, and luminous, like moonlight over the high desert beneath a wide night sky. Perception becomes less clouded by reaction and more guided by awareness. Insight finds its rhythm. The mind grows quiet enough to listen. The inner vision opens the passageway, allowing confusion to soften and understanding to rise through the quiet intelligence of intuition. Most of all, a harmonized Brow Chakra restores the natural rhythm of insight and perception. It reconnects you to the still point within, the awareness beneath every thought, and the quiet knowing that seeing is not only something the eyes do, but also something the spirit remembers. When the Third Eye is open and balanced, the entire system becomes more intuitive, clear, centered, imaginative, discerning, and ready to understand with perception that reaches beyond the surface. …A bit of backstory on this project: “Taos Winds Chakra 2026”… In the 1980s, my first Chakra album came into being. It was a gift for a friend who was doing healing work with stones and sound. He thought the music I was doing at the time would fit very well into his healing routines, so I put together an album with frequency soundscapes at the core of it all. But, it wasn’t until 2000 that I was able to take it to the next level, and create what many of you are familiar with, “Taos Winds Chakra.” I bought a Korg Triton Pro Workstation to have as the center of my studio, a very cutting-edge synth at the time, and I do still use it to this day. It took my sound and frequency work to the next level. I released the album Chakra anywhere I could at the time, and it did well. But, in 2010, I was walking by my CD rack one evening, and Taos Winds Chakra jumped out at me. I pulled it from the rack and popped it into the CD player. Within minutes my thoughts went to YouTube. I had a channel already, had it since 2006 at the very beginning of YouTube, but never really did anything with it, just random projects… As I listened to the original Chakra album, I knew I had to share it with a larger audience. I immediately set out to create visuals for each Chakra soundscape/music. I dug deep into my toolbox, and created the first series of moving Chakra colored cloudscapes using fractals in Adobe After Effects. Synced the soundscapes and cloudscapes, and let them fly out into the world… It worked, that album is at the very foundation of Taos Winds Spirit Music. Years later, 1000+ videos later (as of this video), I return to the foundation, but, with the 2026 version, “Taos Winds Chakra 2026.” The future in which we have arrived… It is all new music/soundscapes and visuals, no reproduction of the original in any way, it is Chakra 2026. I do return to the roots of its unique sounds though, The Korg Triton. I still use the Triton on a fairly regular basis, but with this project, I have decided to honor the original album, I will use only the Triton sounds, as it was with Chakra 2000.
