Hello friends and Happy Thanksgiving to you all. I wanted to share the footage from my time in Kula observing the progress on a property that was burned down. There were a decent number of FEMA agents hard at work trying to get the property up to code to rebuild the home.
Some background: The Kula (aka Upcountry) fire was reported to have started early in the morning of August 8th. From the footage the blaze was at full force before dawn and continued into the early morning. Electric lines have been blamed for this fire- however the power lines are underground in this area.
