KUAN, another personality on stage of the highly-anticipated and creative behind-the-scenes studio mastermind - KWORLD. Over the years, He has worked extensively with many Chinese top-tier artists as a singer-songwriter and producer.
“Too Deep" is KUAN's highly-anticipated solo debut. The song describes a group of people who usually feel “comfortable” with their relationships. They change partners very often, and each relationship lasts for a very short time. Every time they break up, they will not suffer a lot. It seems like they are in a cycle, in which the relationship starts and ends. They seem to be rational and can quickly break away from their feelings, but the emptiness and numbness inside has made them lose the ability to love.
When writing this song, KUAN tried to understand the feelings of these people from a third-person perspective: why they wouldn't feel pain and why they could get out of the whole thing so easily. In contemporary days, people have been overwhelmed with emotions of sensitivity and depression. But in these mixed emotions, we still have to recognize that the most cherished thing is still the purest love in our sincere heart.
