New Atlas | KTM Adventure 1190 R review: a superbike for the dirt @gizmag | Uploaded January 2015 | Updated October 2024, 1 day ago.
Written review: gizmag.com/ktm-1190-adventure-r-review-road-test/35430
With a 148-horsepower superbike engine and a wet weight over 230kg, the Adventure 1190 R is a monster of a bike - but significantly lighter and more powerful than some of its Adventure competition. It's also one of the most dirt-focused of the big enduro twins, and it packs in some excellent rider assist technology like lean angle-sensitive Cornering ABS to keep you upright. Loz Blain takes some baby steps on dirt in our first Adventure bike review.
Thanks to Kevin and Greg from KTM Australia. Cameras by Loz Blain, Cheng Aleng, Shona Tesoriero, Nick Lavars.
