note: Everything you see here can be done with the SRC Gunbuster. I didn't use anything else than some sticky tacks on the feet, everything you see him doing is done by the figure itself, I did not use any stand that I cleared out in After Effects.

Today we're taking a look at the Super Robot Chogo-kin Gunbuster by Bandai, a lovely figure that I've had in my possession for a while without doing anything with him. He's great and very well suited for Stop Motion, be aware of the ankle joints tho, they're plastic and I broke one trying doing the leg split/flat foot test.
It can actually splits a lot more than shown in the video here's the pic :

Sorry about that. So....Id like to talk about this a little bit because its a very important project for me because this is the biggest project Ive ever done and my last two big project are almost two years old and three years old respectively and that makes me sad.
Anyway, Ive had this idea for a while now (cf the presentation video I did of the Genoace Custom and Jazz three years ago) and it kinda developed into and even more.
The basic idea so far is : Jazz and the Genoace Custom are part of the SHPD (Sides Heaven Police Department) and the bag guys are all part a of the gang The Mono Eye. Its basically Visors against Mono Eye !
Ive had this whole idea of some sort of Anthology about this world that could be really fun. Seeing other stories set in Sides Heaven (if you got the pun, I love you). And even people could contribute and make their own stories as well, that could be very cool.
I definitely want to make more stories set in this world and Im developing new ideas. I still need to pen down everything I hope this wont be another abandoned project made in Katsuhono
