Krystal Archive Podcast
Episode 6
Podcast now with background music (inspired by the GoNintendo podcast).
I've received 13 suggestions so far for the April Fools 2007 update.
Massive music, voice acting, and video update made.
Finally put up the text from my questions to Adventures developers.
Person named Agni emailed to explain that Krystal doesn't actually say certain things that the subtitles indicate she should. Updated.
Bounty placed on Assault voice acting and Command sprites.
Nearly 50 new fanarts posted on the Krystal Blog today.
Game Developer's Conference 2007. March 5-9. Shigeru Miyamoto will be the keynote speaker. Brawl announcement possible.
BestBuy.com lists Brawl, Metroid Prime 3, and Super Mario Galaxy to be released March 15th. Obviously wrong, but just letting you know what rumors are out there.
Nintendo is looking at releasing Japan only games to the Wii Virtual Console (blog.wired.com/games/2007/02/japanonly_games.html). Possible Star Fox 2 and Dinosaur Planet.
Star Fox Command was released in Europe and they love it. When Nintendo of Europe spoke to Takaya Imamura, Producer of Star Fox Command (cubed3.com/news/6689/1/Starfox_Wii_Under_Consideration), he said the following:
"I wonder how the adventure of Fox and friends is going to go next time?! I have come up with some idea in my mind but it is still just a small one. I will try my best so that I can deliver it to you some time!"
This is pretty much a confirmation that Nintendo is working on a Star Fox Wii title. Hooray!
Perfect Layout complete, working on related projects.
Some people were complaining that their computers can't handle the huge fanart list, so I'll be splitting it into multiple pages in the future.
We've lost most of the art from Aldran. Moved to FanBakedGoods.
Couple other artists have moved or changed their listings, so I'll take care of that next update too.

![Launch All Ships - Star Fox Assault - English [4K]
The Star Fox team launches their ships into the fight above Fortuna.
Check the Original Resolution version of this video to see the subtitles.
The original prerendered cutscene frames were upscaled to 4K resolution using ImageMagick, ffmpeg, and Waifu2x-caffe. Launch All Ships - Star Fox Assault - English [4K]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/W8TSxe124jA/mqdefault.jpg)

![Sargasso Briefing - Star Fox Assault - English [4K]
After Pigma flees, the Star Fox team believes that they have tracked him down to a Star Wolf controlled hideout. Krystal warns Fox to be careful.
This video shows the cutscene as it appeared in the original English versions of the game. During the English translation, Nintendo had to adjust the animations so that the lipsyncing matched the English voice acting. Unfortunately, it appears that most of the facial animations, including the eye blinks, were removed during this process. The characters appear much more unemotional in this version.
Star Fox Assault does not support widescreen. So, instead this video was uploaded at higher than 4K resolution (3840 x 2948 to be precise). Textures and characters look stretched if the video is formatted to widescreen. Sargasso Briefing - Star Fox Assault - English [4K]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/WkNM0_myupw/mqdefault.jpg)
![Fichina Briefing - Star Fox Assault - Japanese [4K]
Tracking Pigma, team Star Fox arrive at Fichina to find climate control generator completely non-functional and a massive blizzard beginning to grow out of control. Fox McCloud plans to head to the surface to reactivate the generator so their Arwings can fly normally.
This is the high resolution Japanese version of the cutscene. The Japanese version features more facial animations (including blinking) that the English version lacks.

![Fortuna Intro - Star Fox Assault - English [Original Resolution]
The Great Fox arrives at the scene of a great battle between the remnants of Andross Forces and the Cornerian Army.
This is the near-native resolution built from the original prerendered cutscene frames. YouTube over-compresses it, but its still a better image than a capture image. Fortuna Intro - Star Fox Assault - English [Original Resolution]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/YNTtk_XVXZg/mqdefault.jpg)
