About a year ago, I traveled to Nantes, France, to participate in a scientific study on double bass drumming. The research centered on one of the fastest and most intricate techniques—Ankle Motion. Aurélie Sacher of Drums Biomech has been analyzing this movement, and we’re excited to now reveal what she discovered.
