In this video Aorn, Ananda and I take you to Ruen Mai for a delicious meal of southern Thai food and an update on what’s happening in Krabi, Thailand. Ruen Mai is truly a Krabi institution. It’s been trading for over 30 years (they’re now in their third location), it is a favourite with the people who live in the area, and famous for its delicious Thai food.
Ruen Mai is in the outskirts of Krabi Town, about 15 minutes from Ao Nang, and is at Google Maps: goo.gl/maps/7yA9ZxAowCFXHPYd7
The meal in the video cost 1,070 baht including drinks. The beautiful setting, scrumptious local food and attentive staff make for a wonderful dining experience. Definitely one of Krabi’s best restaurants, highly recommended!
