Following the release of “Reward the Scars,” the new Korn single made in collaboration with Blizzard for Diablo 4, I had the chance to sit down with Jonathan Davis to talk about the song, the music video, and his surprisingly genuine love of Diablo.
We talked about how the collaboration came together, why “Reward the Scars” fits Diablo’s endless grind for better gear, his Blood Wave Necromancer, the first time he got a Mythic Unique, playing Diablo with his sons, and why he wants to try Warlock next.
We also talked about the Blizzard-made music video, what it was like seeing Korn brought into Diablo’s world, and what kind of music Jonathan would write if he scored one of Diablo 4’s biggest Lilith moments.
