Another demonstration of the Minilogue in all its glory! This one is one of my all time favorite Oberheim sounds, originally made on the legendary OB-X! Geddy Lee of Rush used the Sample & Hold function of the OB-X to randomly modulate the lush, resonant brass sound he dialed in, thus creating that wicked rhythmic stepped sound.
The KORG Minilogue lacks S&H, but you should know by now that something that little wouldn't stop me. I found a way to do it with the motion sequencer.
Yes, this sound will be included in the upcoming 6th set of my patches. When the patches are released, as with all other sets, I will make a demo video where I play all of them!
