So how do they work? We implanted neodymium smart magnets in both arms of the glasses. These smart magnets attract small metal strike plates embedded at the opposite end of the arms. The result - magnetic force snaps and locks the arms closed when folded. This allows you to attach the glasses to your shirt collar, sleeve, jacket or even gear - securely. Kore glasses stay put.

Kore’s smart magnets are 100% safe to wear, because the magnetic field is directed outward, away from the body. So the inner side of the sunglasses have no discernable magnetic force whatsoever. You can test this yourself by trying to place a paper clip or other metal on the inside of the sunglass magnets – it won’t stick because there’s no magnetism.

This is a whole new innovation within the sunglass market and patented product by Kore Essentials. It’s a great convenience and a big money saver, especially if you own premium, high quality sunglasses from Kore.

Kore frames are a beefier, more substantial design compared to most sunglasses. They are NOT an ultra -light weight, thin, flimsy, or cheaply made, but rather quality-built for durability (approximately 2 oz). For example, hinges and screws are 25% larger to withstand more use and abuse.

Tested
The glasses were baked at 200 degrees Fahrenheit, submerged in salt water and compressed while folded for several hours - with no damage whatsoever to the frames or lenses.

Visor Strap
Lets you store your Kore glasses on your car sunshade visor, for easy-access. Just wrap the strap around your passenger sun shade, with the magnets and KORE logo facing down and attach the Velcro. Trim off any excess strap. Fold your sunglasses and stick them where the sun doesn’t shine.
