The 10 New University Subjects that would benefit future orchestra musicians:

It is often difficult to present new ideas without somehow slightly step on someones feet, some of my teachers have done some of these subjects on their own private initiative (mainly topic no. 1, 5 and 9); however it's not a requirement from the university as an institution that the student are learning these things, despite the fact that this knowledge will increase your chance to get an orchestra job more than most of the other subjects musicians are taught today. I think it is important that someone dares to present the situation after having gone through the educational system themselves quiet recently, because if not it will all just continue like it is and repeat for ever.
