Enjoyed spending time with my son's family during Golden Week, a string of holidays here in Japan. I like to set up our koinobori (carp streamers) in celebration of Children's Day, one of the special days of Golden Week, as many families do. While showing my granddaughter Mei the koinobori, I started singing this song and I was surprised when she started singing along, although she is only two!
