Spent some time yesterday making some of these switches. A few notes...
it appears some of the cherry scratch is lost when replacing stems. Which makes them feel like broken in MX blacks.
Travel distance is reduced by 1.5-2mm...
Stems dont fit as nice in the housing as original stems (go figure) therefore cherry picking is needed because some switches dont travel up and down cleanly (this could be due to the films as well).
Either way Im not a huge fan but some people may be into these as "long stem blacks". And im glad I tested out a batch and realized that I enjoy normal ones a lot more. Still going to keep these and continue testing with them.
Keyboard: SingaKBD Autumn Lilac Kohaku R2
Switches: Cherry MX black housing, Kailh black stem, GHv4 on rails, 0.15mm TX films, 65G TX long springs with 105g0 oil.
Plate: Aluminum
Mount: Gasket
Keycaps: GMK Dracula Nightmode
Foam: None
Mods: None
